Pecans

As a wholesale accumulator of pecans, W.G. Hamil purchases quality nuts from farmers across the South Eastern United States.  Greg Hamil, owner and buyer, along with John Marbury and Michael Hamil work to provide quality nuts for domestic and international markets. Pecans are available for shipment from early to mid-October through February.  During this time, wholesale in-shell nuts are inspected, processed, and bagged for shipment.  Premium quality pecans are then available for shipment to packagers and markets in 50 pound bags and bulk super sacks.  In addition, smaller quantities of pecans are available for purchase year-round in our Southern Treats Gift Shop or in our online gift shop. We also welcome corporate orders for our signature gourmet pecans.

W.G. Hamil also has a buying station in Dothan, Alabama. Our Dothan location has serviced the area for over a decade.

The Brand

The Southern Treats brand of gourmet gifts is based off of true family values with a Southern flare. Featuring an assortment of products from our signature pecans to cheese and dessert straws, Southern Treats aspires to deliver our family’s favorite treats, to yours. The Southern Treats Gift Shop is open to the public year-round in historic Thomasville, Georgia, with an expanded assortment of Treats arriving in the early Fall. We go through great lengths to ensure only the highest quality products enter our store, and travel all over the Southeast to discover new and exciting flavors selected exclusively for our customers.
